Almere Flevoland is a mixed use development comprised of 78,000 households and 14,500 businesses that plans to grow in a sustainable way. The development serves to create a sustainable city and lifestyle, attracting new citizens in response to urbanization. By developing a local economy and reduced commuting, Almere New City aims to become a sustainable development icon.
