Älvstaden is an urban redevelopment vision for the city of Gothensburg. The plan will unite seven city districts and create a sustainable lifestyle, connect the city communities, create a vibrant city center, and promote an easy way to live sustainably.

Strategies: Provide diverse transportation options, bicycle infrastructure, park and ride, public transit connection including bus, railways and ships, boulevards instead of freeways, railways are tunneled.
